Hey sweet friends. I am finally getting around to sharing my beauty room Vanity. As one of the most used areas of my home (I spend TOO much time here), I wanted this space to inspire me. I wanted my beauty desk to feel clean and neat but mostly pretty. I also wanted a desk that is easy to clean and keep clean. Since this is where I put on my makeup, I wanted a clean neat area. I am not a minimalistic decorator so to speak, but I do like it for my vanity. I tend to make the biggest messes with makeup and products. I didn't want to have a ton of things to interfere with that. I think it can get overwhelming come cleanup time. Ha.
My Desk is the Alex desk from IKEA. However I did not attach my desk table top to the Alex drawers. I only have the single set of drawers, but I hope to get another set soon. I LOVE this desk! I LOVE IT. I didn't show how I organize the insides of the drawers, but if you are interested in that I could always do another post later. Just let me know.
I have grown a love for plants recently. It has taken a few years to get the cats use to them so that they don't ruin every one that I get. However, we did have an incident last week. Todd took an arm off of my cactus. I was so sad about it. I don't have the greenest thumb, but I am learning. I love the aesthetic it adds.
My chair is a vintage piece that I seriously can not remember how or when I got it. Jereme and I just sat her trying to figure it out, and we can not remember. My mirror was an old faux wood mirror that I chalk painted so that I could draw designs on in.
