Hey, peeps. I know Valentine's Day is fast approaching so I I put together a quick gift guide in case you find yourself needing an idea for a gift. Hey boys, listen up. I feel that Valentines Day is a fun time to embrace all things pink and feminine. So, naturally, I included some of my favorite things that I know would be a big hit to any girl. Any girl could appreciate these.
1. Perfume
Scents are always a great V-day gift and that works for both girl and guy. Every time the bottle is picked up, the person will remember where it came from and it should bring back happy thoughts. Since scent is such a direct trigger to memories it should also keep the nostalgia flowing every time they wear it. I linked my absolute favorite perfume, Versace Bright Crystal. It never fails to draw compliments. My sweet cousin Lucy actually introduced me to this perfume in high school and I have worn it ever since. It has (in my opinion) a very sweet floral-ly scent, while still being a very mature scent. This one wont bring you back to your twelve year old body mists. And not to mention, the bottle is B-E-A-utiful! It will look so pretty on a vanity.
2. Makeup Brushes
It Cosmetics has stolen my heart in most categories of makeup, however when it comes to brushes I can't express my love enough. I linked my favorite set right now, this City Chic Brush set. If you (or your lady friend) wear makeup, I can guarantee that you will love these. They are the softest most fluffy brushes ever. They make blending so easy. I like to say that an artist is only as good as the tools they use, and that is definitely the case with makeup brushes. I struggled for so long with blending eye shadow until I realized that it was actually my tools just not cutting it. They are also just really pretty too. I know that It Cosmetics brushes can be a bit pricey (and rightfully so, the quality is amazing), so it always best to buy the sets. You will get the most for your money.
3.Face Palette
A contouring face palette is always a fun gift for the girly girl. I love the It Cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quoi palette. I have the older packaging, but no doubt, I love this palette. I know this sounds like an It cosmetics ad, but I promise this isn't sponsored, I just genuinely love this brand. This palette has a blush, setting power, contour and highlight shade all in one place. It is so convenient for travel.
4.Eye Palettes
If your girl loves makeup, get her the palette that she has been eyeing. Palettes are not cheap and it is the perfect opportunity to splurge on a nice item. I love the Naturally Pretty palette because it has mostly mattes and one transforming shimmer, so that any of these shadows can become a shimmer. It also doubles as a highlight.
5. Accessories
Small accessories also make great gifts, scarves or beanies in particular. Just like the perfume, it will trigger a memory every time it is worn. I linked the beanie from my last post. It is a fun piece for these colder days and perfect for a gift.
