Hey Lovelies. It has been awhile since I posted about one of my favorite lip products: the Colourpop Ultra Matte Lips. I wanted to give you some very lax unedited and unfiltered selfie swatches to give you an idea of what they look like on. I am such a fan of the Ultra Matte Lips. I am so happy to have finally found something that works for me. I love that they don't transfer and that my hair doesn't get stuck in a sticky product. I also recently branched out to some of their other formulas and I am loving those as well. I know I sound like a commercial for them but this is not sponsored in any way. I really just love the product so much that I have to talk about them.
I only got one of the Ultra Satin's but I can say that if they are all like the one I got, then I will love them. The formula is much more comfortable if you can not handle the dry feeling of the mattes. (personally I love that about them). They do transfer unlike the mattes, however, they are still pretty long wearing for me. The Ultra Metallics are very comfortable to wear as well however they weren't long wearing on me. I think I got a few good hours out of them before having to reapply.
Here are all of the colors that I own swatched on my hand. Click HERE to see my last post about them. I talked more in depth about the ultra mattes if you are interested. Below are the selfies of each new one that I recently purchased (Minus Pacific). And, at the very bottom of this post you will find some of the makeup looks that I have worn with them. I realized, after the fact that I completely missed the color Pacific in the selfies. I do have pics of it worn though and a hand swatch.
I also wanted to share with you some tips on how to remove them. Honestly, they are not the easiest things to take off. I use this PRODUCT, however it is no longer sold at Sephora. (Insert Crying Emoji here.) If you are brave you can get it on Amazon.com. It's too bad too, because this was a legit BOMB product. I am going to be super sad when I run out. I have heard that THIS is just as good though. Also, if you have an issue with very dry peely lips, I recommend that you use olive oil and sugar to scrub your lips prior to wearing them. Wearing a lip balm will also help too.
F.Y.I. you can click on each of the images below and it will take you directly to the Colourpop website where you can purchase it. (Shimmy is unfortunately not available at the moment.) I hope you found this helpful. <3
Love Always,
Sarah
