Hello Lovelies, Happy Memorial Day! I am super excited to share this look with you today. I have worn this skirt a few times now, and every single time I wear it I get so many compliments. It is without a doubt one of my favorite pieces. But let me begin by saying, do not forget the real reason of this day. It is not just a day for grilling out and barbecues. This day actually is a special day to remember those who never got to come home, those who lost their lives in battle. May we forever salute them and never forget them. All of you wives that lost your precious husbands, I can not imagine how incredibly hard that must be. My heart and prayers are with you.
I may have had a little too much fun with these pictures, I just couldn't help it. The skirt is so fun to take pics in. Praise to The Lord that the wind was just perfect for some added effect. I have paired three different accessories options with this outfit, a crossbody, a necklace and a hat. You could easily pair this outfit with a different color and it would still look just as nice. I want to do a look with this skirt in the fall when the leaves come out. I probably will.
If you do order this skirt, please take note of a few things. The shipping will take a few weeks. You will have to wear something underneath it, and you will also need to pay attention to the sizing. Depending on where you order it from, the waist is all one size and you are actually ordering the length. I ordered mine through JollyChic and I got the largest size because I wanted mine to be extra long and flowy. I linked a different site that I found it on also. I have never ordered through Aliexpress so the sizing might be different. I would also check the reviews if you are nervous to order through there, like I said I have never ordered through them. Measure yourself if you are unsure. It never hurts.
I hope you enjoy this day with your family. Do not forget that there are those out there that are missing someone they lost who was fighting for our country. They fight so we don't have to, and I am forever grateful. May God Bless you all!! Thank you so much for stopping by.
“Abiding in the Shadow of the Almighty
91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. 13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. 14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.”
I encourage you to research Psalm 91. There are so many miracles associated with people who have prayed it in order to keep them safe from harm, especially soldiers. Maybe you would like to pass the info along to your loved ones who are still in the military. Also, give it a try the next time you are scared. Peggy Ruth has put together a ton of testimonies from people who have discovered the miracles from praying Psalm 91.
