I have a bit of confession to make. I barely wash my hair in the winter, maybe once every 7-8 days. It's so cold, that just thinking about washing my hair gives me the chills. I think that may be because I air dry it. No one likes a wet head in the winter. The only good thing about the dry winter air is the fact that I can get away with not having to wash it as often. If towards the end of the week, I start looking a like a grease chicken, hats always save the day. I have another confession to make. I also didn't brush my hair the day I took these photos. Is that more than you wanted to know? Sorry. This was a day where the stars and planets all aligned and just right in favor of my hair. The longer my hair gets, the easier it is to do that. I keep saying that I am going to cut it, but it still hasn't happened yet.
I'm not sure how this turned into a convo about hair. Focus, Sarah. The outfit. This is one of my go-to looks. A basic tee, cardigan and leggings always save the day. It is effortless and comfy, but still cute. This year, I feel like I am gravitating towards more basic pieces that have texture. I haven't been in to a ton of crazy prints, but I am still loving to mix textures. For this outfit, I love the way the soft cardi contrasts with the stiffness of the hat and faux leather. It is so right in my book! This cardigan is on a sale for under $20.
In other news, it SNOWED! FINALLY! It gave me just enough time to shoot a few looks just before it started to melt. I am going to be sharing my winter wardrobe with you. Heads up, I wore these boots in all of the looks but one. I had others that I could have worn, but if we are being honest, this is the way I will be wearing them. So, I thought it best just to show you that. Hey, their a good boot for so many looks, why would I need anything else?
Did you get snow? If so, what did your snow day look like? I would love to hear about it below. This outfit is linked at the bottom of this post. Thank you so much for stopping by. Until next time.
Love Sarah.
