Hey lovelies, Happy Happy Friday. Winter is in full swing here. It is so bitterly cold. It was ELEVEN DEGREES this week. So, it is layers upon layers for me. I guess I am cool with it though because I just adore all the cozy sweaters and scarves. This is such a me outfit: layers and mixing fabrics and textures. As you may know, I don't always follow trends closely, but two this winter season are speaking my language. The most popular trends of the season are statement sleeves and chenille. I am so on board with both.
This sweater not only tackles both of those trends, it is also easily one of my favorites. In my book, it is a triple threat. The color is perfect. The style is perfect, and the feel is perfect. It is just all perfect all around. The bubble sleeves are adorable. It is SO soft and the best part is that it and the scarf are both on sale. The scarf is UNDER TEN! That is totally a steal. The ripped detail is so cute and different. Hey, by the way, did I mention that the sweater is so soft. It is so soft. It is SO SOFT! Give me all the chenille this year.
My favorite part of the outfit has to be the shoes. Get a closer look at these puppies. They are actually rain boots. They fooled you. Didn't they? Let me just say, I have been on the HUNT for a stylish rain bootie for months. There are so many occasions where I need cute rain boots, but you don't really see many choices. Then I ran across these Jeffrey Campbell rain booties. I was sold immediately. There is just something about the all matte black that screams stylish. I am in Love. Definitely size up though. They are a very narrow shoe. So keep that in mind. I know that I will be wearing these over and over and over. Jereme even said they are his favorite that I own. Score!
What is your favorite trend this winter? Do you love or hate the Chenille and statement sleeve trends? What about the rain boots? Are they for you, or are they a pass? Also, what are some things you would like to see in my posts this year? Do you want more fashion? What about beauty? More motivation? More decor? What? Let me know! Thank you so much for stopping by.
Love always, Sarah
