Hi sweet friends, we just had our baby shower for our sweet Daisy and it was no doubt a dream come true. I am so excited to share it with you. I have been looking forward to this baby shower since we found out that she was a girl. I may I have had Pinterest boards even longer though. (Like since three years ago, but who’s counting anyways. Ha.) I never really have many personal opportunities to have large celebrations, so I jumped at this one. Life is to short and unpredictable to not celebrate when you have the chance. Having this baby is certainly something to celebrate about, and celebrate we did.

Our sweet girl will be named be Daisy Heart. I announced it on Instagram a couple of weeks ago and since then, a few have asked the story behind her name. I love a good name story, so here we are. Funny enough, her name just kind of came to us one day. There wasn’t a huge eloquent or profound reason behind it when it was chosen. It wasn’t until later that I realized the meaning. In fact, up until we knew she was actually a girl, we had only picked out boy names. Those came easy for us. I was almost certain that it would be a boy just because of the names, even though I really wanted a girl. Those names had the amazing stories, however we still LOVE hers none the less. We think it is perfect….

It’s a girl! It’s a girl! It’s a girl! WE ARE HAVING A BABY GIRL! Could my heart be any fuller? I wanted a girl so badly. I am so overjoyed I can hardly contain it. Jereme wanted a boy, but I know he will be so overjoyed with this little girl. The Lord knew it was my heart that needed her. We found out Wednesday, March 26 what our little jelly bean was. I was trying so hard not to cry through the whole ultrasound, but by the end of it, I think I had winged liner to my ears. She is exactly what I needed.

Hey sweet friends. I am officially half way through the first trimester and thought it was the perfect time to give you a baby update. Currently I am 20 weeks along. HALF WAY!! YAY.
